Have you had pins on your pinterest board for FOREVER? I know I have! And I keep looking at them and thinking ‘I really should start making some of these things’. But I never seem to have the time nor be able to ‘fit’ crafting into my schedule. Until now. I decided a couple of weeks ago, after making some simple tea towel pillows that I must fit crafting back into my schedule. But I don’t want to craft alone. SO I thought I would invite you all to join me! Below you will find all the information about each craft along, along with the links to each event. I also made a facebook event for each of the sessions. We’ll meet every Tuesday evening at 7PM via Zoho Meeting. Zoho meeting is a web-based meeting platform so there’s nothing to download. You just click the link (found in each week’s description below) on your fav device and watch along with me. You can mute yourself if you’d like. You can show your video-self if you’d like. There’s absolutely no pressure to interact. Only if you want! So grab you crafting supplies and join me on Tuesday evenings for an interactive (or not) craft along!

The full schedule is above. I think we’ll set a theme for the month. So for June we’ll be using our fabric stash! And then for July, I’m thinking it will be a ‘Red, White, and Blue’ theme. I’ve already starting saving some pins. Let me know what you think!

Our first craft along is tomorrow night-June 9th! We’ll use some of our fabric stash to make a simple, no-sew fabric bunting. You’ll need 7 different coordinating fabrics, some fabric glue, and an edging fabric-such as ric rac or ribbon. We’ll use this tutorial as a guide. If you’d rather sew the bunting, we’ll do that as well. You will need the same items as above with the exception of the fabric glue. You can find the facebook event here and the link to the actual Zoho Meeting here.

Then on June 16th, we’ll make a pincushion or two or three! We’ll use some of our fabric stash and other items you can find right around your house to make fun pincushions. You’ll need a small square of fabric, some stuffing/batting/old pillow, glue gun, and a holder–such as a tea cup, mason jar, terra cotta pot, or other vessel. You can see an example of what we’ll be making above or you can see more examples here. You can find the facebook event here and the link to the actual Zoho Meeting here.

On June 23rd, we’ll need lots of fabric to make a no-sew table runner or some placemats! You’ll need about 2-3 yards of fabric, fusible tape, an iron, and any decorative items you’d like to add (such as ric rac, pom poms, etc). If you’d rather sew your table runner or placemats, we can do that too! You’ll need a sewing machine rather than the fusible tape, but everything else will be the same. We’ll use this tutorial and modify it to our needs. You can find the facebook event here and the link to the actual Zoho Meeting here.

And to round out June, one of my personal favorites–fabric flowers! I used to make these flowers out of fabric and some out of felt. So grab your fabric, felt, and your glue gun and let’s make some fun flowers for our summer decor, our wardrobes, or just because. On June 30th we’ll make easy, no sew fabric or felt flowers. This will be a fabric scraps stash busting activity! Here’s an example of one type of flower we will be making. You can find the facebook event here and the link to the actual Zoho Meeting here.

All these craft sessions should last less than an hour and a half. So grab your glue gun, a fancy drink, and tune in to make along with me.

see you then!
