Farm-to-Table Lifestyle Curator

Welcome to The Farmstead—

I’m Kristin, founder of Chicken Librarian, where I bring together hospitality, storytelling, and traditional skills by collaborating with land-based businesses to design immersive, elevated spaces and events that bring their stories, heritage, and culture to life.

A former Library Director and founder of Chicken Librarian, LLC, I spent decades honing expertise in rural living, seasonal skills, and immersive farm-to-table gatherings. Those experiences, along with two decades hosting guests at a Catskills fly-fishing resort, shape the work I do today—creating environments and experiences rooted in storytelling, connection, and intentional living.

Rooted in my Southern Appalachian heritage and the family land I now steward in East Tennessee, my work invites people to slow down, engage deeply, and reconnect with the rhythms of food, place, and community.
