Cape Cod February 2020
What can I say? It was Cape Cod in February. It was cold. Well, it was mostly warmer but there was some high winds that made it cold. Some days were overcast causing it to be colder than other days. But we didn't let that stop us. We still went out and about. We walked the beaches. We went to Provincetown. We went for a hike. The thing about Cape Cod is it offers such diversity in geography. Sure you have the ocean on one side and the bay on the other but in between those shores you also have some woods. We did all of our favorite things (those things that were open). It was good to be back on the Cape. It's one of my all time favorite places. There were shells collected. There was a beehive at the house we rented. Pictures were taken. Honestly? These are some of my favorite pictures yet. About half of them were taken with my phone which is never my favorite method of photography and the other half were taken with my old camera (see this post for details about moving on up in the camera world). We ate seafood. We explored more of P-town that what we normally do. That'll be good for our trip in October. We went to the local library. We counted rings on a fallen tree (we counted 80!). I spent the last evening on the beach all by myself. Literally. There were a couple of people as the sun was setting but mostly it was me. It was nice. It was cold! I facetimed my parents so they could see the sun setting over the bay. All in all, it was a good trip.
