Let Her Speak Fall Storyteller Session
11.13 5:30 PM-7:30 PM
The Storyteller Sessions feature one speaker who shares her story in a space that holds special meaning to her. After her story is shared, the storyteller will then share with attendees a few questions to help facilitate conversations within small groups with other attendees. These questions are meant to help us dig deeper, below the surface, to share stories about ourselves we don't always have the space (or acceptance) to share.
Our Fall 2024 session features Kristin Webber of Chicken Librarian sharing her story titled "Back to the Ole Homeplace: Coming Full Circle." The ole homeplace refers to her Dad's property in Powell, TN, that he grew up on, as did she. Kristin moved away from the homeplace for 20+ years and has recently settled back onto this special property with plans to capture some of its earlier existence with decorations, gardens, and landscaping all while trying to get her business to the next level (and off the ground).
