Hi Guys! How are you? I’m good. I took a week off from pretty much everything to go on vacation. We took our annual trip to the Hamptons. I’ll post more about that later. We got back on Friday evening late (traffic was horrific and we also made a couple of stops–one of which was to pick up gardening supplies). So this past weekend was ‘get the garden going before all the plants die’. And I did just that. This time instead of pictures, I’m posting some short videos I made and uploaded to my InstaStories. I thought I would start a youtube channel to share some of those videos and then thought ‘why not share them on the blog”? So here you go! Enjoy!
As you can hopefully tell I was very busy this past weekend getting the garden up and running. I still have a LOT left to do but it’s functional. I’ll post better videos and pictures soon. Today is a day of catching up. I’m catching up on blog reading and commenting. I have my next homesteading class tomorrow and I need to finish preparing for that. I also need to catch up on social media. Plus unpack and clean the house! And I still have some plants that need planting. How have you been? What have you been up to? I want to know all the things! Until next time friends!

Oh my, you really have your work cut out for you. But your plans sound great and your plants look good. A lot of work, but it will be so worth it.

My husband keeps telling me itโs quite the undertaking! But it will be worth it in the end. I hope!

Yay for gardening! What a fun project…it’s enjoyable to be outside AND you get the benefit of food on your table. I hope you have a productive garden this season ๐

Thank you Bekah! I’m excited, yet exhausted! It’s been a lot of fun getting everything planted though!

Wow, you are pretty busy lady. Glad you had a great vacation, the garden looks as though it will be awesome and have a great homestead class.

thanks! I’m really happy about the garden. And we’re busy making plans on finishing everything up. It will be a season-long progress but then next year should be much much easier (in the garden anyway…there’s plans to finish out the chicken coop, etc. but that’s a story for a different day!).
