Description

Have you wanted to try dyeing with natural products found around the house or things that you can forage for in your backyard and neighborhood? Then this class is for you. Join Kristin, owner of Chicken Librarian, as she shows you the ins and outs of basic dyeing with natural ingredients. Not only will you get hands on experience with dyeing, but you will get information on how to dye, what modifiers can be used to change the color of the dye, and find out some fun surprises about dyeing and colors along the way!

Price is $50 and includes everything you need to dye one skein of yarn. Feel free to bring your own small 100% natural (cotton, silk, wool) items to dye. Each participant will learn the ins and outs of beginning dyeing.  Please choose local pickup for shipping rate.

The workshop will be approximately 2 hours.
