Hi friends! I’ve been working hard on some behind-the-scenes things here at Chicken Librarian so I thought I would give you a quick update on what’s been going on. First, all the current class kits have been discontinued in order to make room for some new ones. Second, I’m offering hand knitted hats in time for your Holiday season. You can find more information in the shop (babies, bonnets, children’s with pom, and children’s without pom; as well as men’s and women’s).

Classes and Events

I’m also pleased to announce that I am offering cheesemaking as part of my ‘on the homestead’ series. I’m limiting it to 5 people so we can safely social distance, but I thought why not?!? We can come together for a day of fun making and eat some yummy food and just uplift each other while learning new things. So. If you want to join me, registration is now open! See here for all the details.

Don’t forget to check my Classes and Events page for up-to-date information on where I’ll be. I’m booking fall classes, both virtually and in-person, now. Need more info? Check here or email me!

Chicken Librarian Reads

And I’m so excited to announce our next book for the Chicken Librarian Reads book group. We’ll read and discuss Where the Crawdads Sing on Thursday September 17th at 7PM EST via Zoho Meeting. I’ve heard really good things about this book and am looking forward to jumping right in. So grab your copy at your local library, bookstore, or online and mark your calendars for 9/17!

So! What are you waiting for? I can match a hat to your favorite sports team, your winter coat, or even your favorite fishing company!

’til next time
