Friends! I don’t do this very often (anymore), but I think this might be a picture post. I got to visit with my friend Elizabeth last week. We met in Delhi, NY, at the Blue Bee Café and had lunch. I had a very yummy iced coffee, well, two iced coffees! And then the pear tartine. It was divine. Then we went to the local community garden just down the road from Delhi, and had a lovely couple of hours touring the property. Elizabeth works there part time as does our other friend. I haven’t been to the farm yet and that day was a perfect day for visiting. I got the grand tour and boy was it nice. There are chickens and goats and sheep and flower gardens and vegetable gardens and a greenhouse and potting sheds and on and on. It was a lovely day away from the homestead, as you can hopefully see. I encourage you to support your local community garden and farmers alike. Now go plant something!

’til next time
