Hello friends! And welcome back to the ‘homestead’. It might look a little different now, the homestead and the blog, but I’m happy to get back into the swing of things. Anna Lee and I have landed back in the Catskills. We (mostly) enjoyed our time in Tennessee. I say mostly because, as you may know, my Dad passed away while we were there. We were happy to have spent time with him, and the rest of the family, but we are equally as happy to be back ‘home’. I put home is quotes because we don’t have a permanent home. Yet. We will be working towards that over the next few months. I’m not sure what the housing market looks like where you are, but here, it’s nearly impossible to find affordable housing. Thankfully we know a lot of people in the area and I’m sure Anna and I will land on our feet. In the meantime, stay tuned for updates. I have some really exciting things happening, including where we will be living for the foreseeable future. hint, hint.
I’ll be here working behind the scenes, but also planning events, classes, and blog posts! So I hope you’ll join me on this new journey. You can always check my calendar for upcoming events. I have a few library programs scheduled and I’m starting back on Facebook Live. I’m not sure what my schedule will be but I’ll keep you posted. This Saturday, we’ll make beet pesto! YUM!
And there you have it friends! My briefest of updates. I will be back with more. Please take a moment and let me know what you’ve been up to! I want to know!
’til next time

So glad to see you are back! In writing and in person! This has been and continues to be a rough ride. Covid, the Ukraine, food shortages. I’m spending ever day doing a little something for myself! Hope you do too. Missed your beautiful photos and upbeat writings. Wishing you beauty and peace wherever your travels take you.

Oh goodness! Thank you so much! These past few months have been very rough, but I think I’m on the other side now. And I’m ready to get Chicken Librarian back on track. Things are definitely looking different, but taking time for self-care is so important. I’m glad you are doing that for yourself! And stay tuned for more details, writings, pictures, and classes. Thanks for stopping by. xoxo

It’s so good to see you and Anna Lee again. You are so missed when you’re not in my feed, but I know you need to take care of you.
I’m sorry to read of your father’s passing; my condolences to you and your family.
