Friends! I am so excited to announce that the Chicken Librarian Reads book discussion is back! If you recall, we read a couple of homesteading related books (The Beekeeper’s Handbook and Animal, Vegetable, Miracle). Then the discussion got put on the backburner, but I was discussing the book group with Bekah at our recent craft along and we decided now was a good time to bring it back. So. Here we are. We thought we would open the discussion up to all genres of books. Bekah recently read The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek and wanted some insight into what others thought about it. It’s been on my ‘must read‘ list for a while now so time is of the essence! I’m happy to announce that the book group will be a live discussion via Zoho Meeting. The discussion will take place once per month, much as regular book in-person book groups do. We’ll pick a book, give ourselves a month to read the book, and then meet at the designated time online and have a (hopefully lively) discussion! If you want to join us, grab the photo above, share far and wide, get your hands on the book, and let’s get to reading! We’ll discuss The Book Woman of Troublesome Hollow on Thursday July 16th at 7PM via Zoho Meeting. Bekah will be our hostess for this discussion!

I was having issues finding the book via my local library’s online platform (overdrive) and our libraries just opened back up so I couldn’t get my hands on a hard copy, but I did just find the book for free via my Amazon Prime account.

Happy reading friends!
’til next time
